Employee Relief Fund

Sometimes unfortunate events occur that are beyond our control.

WestRock has a long history of responding to disasters around the world through international relief organizations such as the Red Cross and Red Crescent societies. The global impact of these assistance programs is undeniable; however, when disaster strikes close to home, WestRock employees like to know their co-workers are taken care of and are willing
to pitch in to help them get back on their feet.

In 2005 several large natural disasters caused significant hardship for employees in locations where we have operations. WestRock employees
rallied to assist their co-workers and shortly thereafter, the WestRock Employee Relief Fund was established.

Administrated by a Board and Grant Administrative Committee comprised
of WestRock co-workers, the Employee Relief Fund provides financial assistance to employees around the world who have suffered financial
hardship due to a natural or man-made disaster. Thanks to monetary contributions from employees and other donors, the Fund provides
grants that help cover short-term expenses, such as shelter, food and clothing.
