The Power of Partnership Through the Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection Program

At the program’s recent graduation ceremony, WestRock received two awards for our dedication and value to this partnership: The Power of Partnership and The Magnificent Mentor Awards.

In February 2018, WestRock began participating in the first state-sponsored business development program in the United States, the Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection Program (GMPC). This program partners large corporations based in Georgia with the State’s small emerging firms. For a one-year period, the partners focus on areas that will help drive business growth and long term success for the protégé company.

Through the program, WestRock partnered with a small IT consulting firm, Six Consulting Group, which is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). WestRock worked with Six Consulting on areas such as recruiting, process improvement, sales and client engagement. At the program’s recent graduation ceremony, WestRock received two awards for our dedication and value added to this partnership: The Power of Partnership and The Magnificent Mentor Awards.
